ok you def are not on stock boost if you are fuel cutting, dont hit fuel cut all the time it isnt a good thing lol as im sure you can tell by how it feels.

A BOV will actually help you out a little right now because the stock one leaks boost a little. And the best turbo for the EVO is a question that cant be answered without knowing what you want

The GT35r is the most popular and is purfect for street and raceing(it makes a TON of power but you need all suporting mods to run it and is expensive to do) the 35r has made 650AWHP EVOs and run them into the high 9s with a built motor of course.

if you want a street car mainly the 20G is easy and cheap and doesnt require much of anything to run. they can make over 400AWHP.

The GT42r is a MASSIVE turbo that requires ALOT of money but makes 800HP on the built 2.0L bottom end and on the 2.3L built bottom end makes over 900AWHP.

there are other turbos out there that are similar to the 20G but the 20G is the easy one to get and run. If I had to tell you what to get id say save for the GT35r if you build the head you can run it on the stock bottom end and make up to 500HP but anymore than that 500 mark you need to build the motor to make handle the power also you need a stand alone like the AEM EMS and dyno tuned or the Utech tuned or something (all expensive but everyone raves about it)
like i sad it will not be soon, but i will start looking into the 35r & 20G,the 35r is the hp im looking for but the car will be more for the day 2 day car.is the GT35r the same as the 35r??

yes it is a garret turbo GT part people just are to lazy to type. but the GT35r is good for daily use it gets good spool time and makes power rangin from 420-650ish depending on the supporting mods and tune fuel and all that

I always put it on auto so the green dash light stays lit.... But all it does is when you hit full boost it sprays windsheild washer fluiid on your Fronmount to help cooling or you can manually do it and hear the pump going if your stopped. You dont need to use it to be honest I dont think it makes a difference but I like to use it anyway it cant hurt

it does but I dont think it helps at all because you cant even tell if it is working I mean under boost hte car is loud so you can hear the motor for the pump kick on but I use it anyway because it is a extra feature so gotta play with it
