I dont know but I think I need to start modding my car sooner than I wanted to..... I'm starting to get that feeling of.... hummm i think my car is slow... not that the car is slow, the car is really fast stock, its just that once you drive it for a while you get use to the torque curve and you dont get that push back in your chair feeling no more, thats when you know its time to mod, my passangers get the push back in their seats it just that i guess im use to it and dont notice it much anymore, but I definately need to get my car to AMS fast because I need that feeling again...... Thank you year 2007, you are gonna make me broke again.....lol thats ok as long as I got a fast car.

 

I have all the mods I thought I would want. But now my car feels really slow even to the oint I get surprised to win a race

 

Like I said do the mods I told you and youll be happy for a while it will be twice the car it is now

 

Yeah I know what your talking about, when I first got the car I was like holy S#@T and after driving it a while that feeling went away, but dont get me wrong its still very fun to drive, i love it. For the first time today I drove my buddies 07 mazdaspeed3 all I can say is wow, the car is sick, now I know why he could keep up with me on the highway. I was crusing in 5th and dropped it ddown to third.....omg the car started smoking the tires and once it gripped it took off like a bat out of hell. I kinda do miss having 2wd though cause I love breaking the tires loose and after doing it in the msp3 it brought back those giggles. I know though once i get the opportunity to race the evo from a stop against a way more expensive car and beat them I'll remember why I bought a awd car. But back to the point I was talking about earlier, i will definately be getting my car to AMS as soon as I can get a day of vaction from work this year. Yeah Yeah 2007 looks like it gonna be a fun year for my evo, I got so many plans to get to the drag strip and to road america......cant wait...hee hee

 

Yeah I hear ya. When I first got my car the acceleration was out of this world. Coming from a 120 HP Lancer OZ Rally edition, and never having experience with a high performance car, I was simply amazed by the Evo’s performance. The AWD system was, and still is amazing. I can’t really picture myself driving a 2wd car ever again. My car is still stock with 25K miles on the clock, and now that I’ve jus graduated from college, the modding process has begun. I’m pretty much used to the acceleration but what makes me really happy is when I take friends for rides and watch them turn pale after tight corners or straight line speed and acceleration. And yeah once you start beating cars that cost twice and even three times as much, you’ll be reminded once more why you got an Evo.
