I was at mitsubishi today getting a timing belt on my talon. I went to the show room and there was a brand new Mitsubishi Evo IX sitting there. I looked it over and i loved everything about it. The guy i was talking to wasnt pushy or anything and he was cool to talk to. Most of the stuff i asked him or told him perfomance wise about the Evo he didnt know, which i found kinda funny. He asked if i wanted to test drive it and i told him i was only 16, hes like "Well im not supposed to let minors test drive but you seem to know what you are doing, but still i probably shouldnt" so i didnt drive it but the car looked great. He said there is almost no turbo lag. Is this true?

 

i think all turbo's have lag, but some kick in earlier than others.

 

and i should go to my local dealer and talk all about my car and having them think im talking chinese and go and drive an evo.

agreed...and the lag is horrible lol. I spool full 22 psi at 3000RPMS
