Does anyone know about Fujita intakes? Are they any good or is Injen better?

Injen ALL THE WAY.

But it is honestly best to keep the stock intake in the EVO untill you are making around 400WHP, Not that I followed that but adding an intake can cause some MAS issues

Just like Emonz, I love the Injen intake....it gives you the BOV sound and creates a sucking sound when the turbo spools, however unless getting it tuned it's best to stick with the stock box. However, I have heard the ARC and Buschur Suction Intake are better than the stock box....not sure if this is true or not.

Can the ES have this problem too? Cause my room mate put a cold air intake on her 2002 Lancer ES and its been acting strange. It dies if you just let it idle and it jerks when your driving it unless your on the gas. Its also almost impossible to not have the car jerk a good amount when you are shifting. The MAF is on there too, we didn't take it out or anything.

The reason for the problems with aftermarket intakes on the Evo is due to the MAF readings. The air isn't smooth and therefore the MAF readings are off. I'm not sure what the lancer has for an MAF. I wouldn't think an aftermarket intake would be the cause of such serious problems your speaking of. I would verify everything is put on correctly. What aftermarket intake did you get?

Its an ebay intake, and yea I check to make sure it was all pluged in. If it was a vacume leak wouldn't it cause it to be a higher RPM rather than too low?

VAC leaaks can cause trouble all over the RPM band... Do me a favor How long has he had that intake on the car? Check the throttle body flange the side that is conectted to the manifold and make sure it isnt cracked because ebay intake can cause the manifold to crack at the TB flange (I know from experience with like 3 of them breaking)
