The evo IX has a 16G as previously stated, The compressor side of the turbo is larger than the evo 8
but the hotside is the same as a 05 evo 8. Buschur racing actually tkaes the evo 9 turbo and puts in a 20g turbine in it.
A friend of mine has this on his evolution 8 and made 370 awho and 380ftlb of toruqe with 93 octane including 3in tbe, intake 272 hks camshafts. On c16 mixed with 93 octane the car maded 375awhp and 412ftlb of torque.

thats not uncommon at all. Ive seen alot do the BR 20G/9 upgrade and make nice power off of a basically stock turbo and manifold. I think it is only a $900 upgrade.
