What Is The Best _____ For _____???
Hey i just puchessed a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution ix mr and im looking to put a brand new exhaust and turbo kit installed in it. But the problem is that i dont know whats the best one. What is your opinion? Heres a Picture.

Nice looking car, that said. You have ALOT of help before putting a turbo upgrade in your Evo. FYI the Evo has a turbo already and it is capable of quite a bit of power. You need alot of other stuff before you can upgrade the turbo. SO the mods you need right now (trust me on this, and i will help you have a fast car) are a turbo back exhaust , any form like greddy, hks,buschur racing, megan racing, AMS are all good. Then you need a boost gauge and boost controller. Adjust it to around 21-22PSI and then have your ECU re flashed either on the dyno or mailed in to on of the big tuner companies. With just this stuff you will have a car that should make 330-360WHP, I promis you will see and feel a huge difference
Yes it is done by a laptop, and no I DO NOT recommend you try to do it yourself. You need need a real tuner in order to be sure your tune is good for both power and saftey. You can easily blow your motor if the tuner is inexperienced. Contact any of these places and youll have no worries at all with your tune, Buschur racing, Turbotrix, AMS, Works, Vishnu, Jestr tuning, Mellon tuning, Sean Ivey tuning, and even Dynoflash
All of these places specialize in Evos and places like AMS and buschur racing have Evos with over 1000AWHP and run low 8s.
There are a few differnt types ways to flash the ECU. On the dyno, on the road, mail in, or Email. Email is mainly for guys whp know a little more about what they are doing than the average joe (takes a little learning), you also need to purchase a tractrix cable and software in order to log what your ECU is doing onto your laptop so you can email it to the tuner. At that point the tuner will adjust your cars maps(fuel and timing) based off of what they feel is best and then they email you the new tune back for you to load into your laptop and upload your your cars ECU, it is a little tricky to the average joe . The mail in simply means if non of the tuners are local to you then you can simply mail your ecu to them and tell them your mods and they will tune it accordingly, If they are local to you then you can schedule to dyno flash the car and youll make the best HP numbers this way. The road tune is also a great way to tune. You can be assured that under road conditions the car is setup for street power and saftey.

look ur turbo is the biggest ur gunna get wi out brackin sumat in ur engine cos the evo9 fq comes with a very big turbo as it is and god it helps theres not a subaru that will beat u many thanks ben
