Default what lowering springs for a EVO VIII

this question is for a 03 evo VIII. What are some suggetions on lowering springs? i just want to lower it a little bit and not spend over 200 u.s. dollars. I have been looking at Tien S and H both well under 200. my friend said he heard the S lower the car too much and ride like ****. I looked into the H and it seems like it doesnt lower it enough. I just dont want to ruin a nice car, but the car lower looks tuff. thanks for any help

Teins are very good springs and almost all EVO guys run them you just go with the look you want. they car will not ride bad with them the handleing will be even better than it is now and less body roll it will feel a little more stuff NO matter what ones you get

Teins are nice cause the ride quality is always good but some do have a bit too much lowering. Try just lowering it about maybe an 1 to 1.5 inches max.

You're definitely on the right track though, Tein is definitely the best choice. Just go with the S tech. One of my buddies with a 05 VIII got S tech and it looks great. The ride quality is not bad at all, although you feel everything a lil bit more but that’s expected. Also you just have to take it slower than usual on rugged road. The decreased center gravity allows less weight to be shifted from side to side under severe cornering.

i heard teins were good too. i drive the 03 evo and the other one that i've been told by my friend at a performance shop is that the rs-r ti2000 are also really good.

but like the guys said DONT LOWER IT TOO MUCH or your *** will never forgive you!
