Charging system service required
Ciprian is my name, I'm from Romania and I have a Mitsubishi Outlander diesel, 2013.
On the board I displayed the message CHARGING SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED.
The alternator and battery were changed, all the cables were checked.
Checked car, loads perfectly - so no problem with the alternator, battery and wires .
I tried with a second-hand battery sensor and the same message appears : red battery on the dashboard .
But I wonder, if I were to buy a new battery sensor, code 1865A189 is it absolutely necessary to be initialized or is it enough to simply mount it on the car?
Pls, i need help .
