Is there anyway that a rule can be placed so you have to have at least 50 posts to post in the classifieds. I think that this would eliminate a lot of people who post once and never come back.

Well posts should only count in certain areas. Take should take care of that. Thats how a lot of other forums do it.

yea you can do that, but that just means people will post ***** in areas where they do count (ussually the tech help sections). It already happened before.

weve tried both. OT is not supposed to count toward post counts. It doesnt matter because people will just ***** up the tech sections at that point anyway

Actually now that we are using VB i think there is a way to make it so that members must have a minimum post count before they can even see the FS section. I think if we do that it may help
