I've noticed a significant number of spammers lately, and I'd like to see what the forum's policy on spammer accounts. Threads and user names are:

I'm getting slightly pissed at people using our site as their own personal advertisments. Can we find a way to ban not just their user names, but IP addresses as well?

 

Yeah they have been banning IP addresses, but they dont always use the same one. Its never the same people dude, there is really no way to control it, you just gotta stop it when it happens.

I wish i could do something about it. Unfortunatly, im neither a mod or admin, so i can't.

I would recomend talking to Mike about that one.

 

anytime there are spammers we ban the IP and delete the threads. As we see them we get rid of them.
