Default 03 Galant a/c Issue

My a/c after driving for about 20 minutes shuts down and the green light starts blinking. If I shut down the car and start de engine again usually it works again and after 20 minutes it happens again. I replaced the dryer ,the a/c switch on the dryer and also the climate control unit and it still does the same.

The a/c is not leaking it has LP 30 and HP between 150-200. If I turn the a/c on and just leave the car out in the sun for an hour it works perfect very cold and it would not shut down but ones I start driving after a while it shuts down again. Also the compressor does not make any noise. We test the fans and they work perfect.

Any suggestions......

When the AC light is flashing, it is indicating that the system is being shut down to protect itself from pressure issues. In most of these cases, it is due to the refrigerant level being low. The most common leak point on this vehicle is the passenger-side top corner of the condenser in the front bumper. These things are notorious for failure, and it would happen several times a week during the hot seasons. A close second would be one of the hoses at the compressor that is somewhat common to leak.

The issue is that the a/c is not leaking. We checked the refrigerant for the past 3 weeks and it always read 30. Do you think it should read more?
