Default 2.5V6 Auto

Hi All,

my first post on here

i have just boughta 1997 2.5V6 Auto (about a month ago)and the torque converter has gone, i have been told this is something very common as the converter is not strong enough for the power from the engine, is this true?

if so is there anything i can do to help this?

Or....

can i convert it to a manual?

Cheers

Paul
