Hi All,
My engine light came on giving me a p128 code which prompted me to buy a Gates thermostat and gasket part #33868. Upon removing the hose and the two bolts, there isnt one installed which i find to be odd. Additionally the thermostat i had purchased did NOT fit so i went to Auto Zone and purschased Fail Safe Part #7422-190 and it also does not fit.

Can anyone chime in and help me out? One why didnt my car initially have one (140k miles) and two both parts did NoT fit.
