2011 Galant Brake light on dash comes on until I tap the side of the brake pedal!
Hi Everyone!
I just bought a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant SE. Everything seems to work well except when at times when I am driving down the road, the red BRAKE light on the instrument cluster lights up. I tap the side of the brake pedal without even pushing on the brake pedal, and the light goes off, but then it comes back on again. Is there some kind of switch or sensor under the brake pedal that needs to be cleaned or replaced? Any help would be appreciated.
