Default 98 Galant timing and balance belt alinement marks??

I am changing the timing, balance, and pullys on a 98 Galant that I bought with 109000 and the previous owner never touched the timing belt. The balance belt was broke and the timing belt was original. I am trying to get it back together but cannot get the crankshaft timing/balance drive pully off of the engine. I was able to get the balance belt back on, but am not sure what to align the belt with. The crankshft position sensor disk has a "V" mark on it with a little notch that is close to the mark on the case. Since I cannot get the bolt out to get the disk off to see the actual marks, does anyone know if this is the correct mark? I didn't move the crank much, but it was so full of belt peices I could not see this when I took it apart.
Thanks for any help,
Lyle
