Default Alarming!

Help please, my Galant 1998 alarm has been sounding randomly, even when driving. As a temporary fix I thought I had disconnected the siren (using a multi connector just behind the battery). However this (I think it is the siren which is fixed just beneath the front nearside wing near the battery) is now clicking loudly - even when the battery is disconnected. Can I safely remove this altogether to stop annoying the neighbours, or is there another solution. Cash crisis at the moment prevents visit to garage. HELP!

Default RE: Alarming!

Did you took out the fuse?

The alarm is it the Original Factory Equipment? iF NO the person who install your car alarm doesn't know what he/she was doing.

Go to Circuit City or Best Buy. They install car alarm there. ask them if they could fix it. you might just pay them 25 buck to disconnect it or if they fix it they will charge more.

Go to the Dealer if it is OEM car alarm.
