AMG Tuned 4g63 out of a Galant Vr4... how rare?

Found this motor in longblock form... in mint condition. Tuned by AMG out of a Galant Vr4 I believe. How rare are these motors... not up to date on the history of the VR4.

The VR-4 is rare in itself seeing has only 2,000 where made on year and 3,000 I think where made the next.
