ok okay...i got a problem..i try and start my 2002 galant 4 cyl and it cranks..and it sounds like its going to turn on...but then doesnt...i would try later and it would turn on...then wont..back and forth thing....
then one day i check da airbox dare was this metal filter "i gues from da mass air flow sensor"? and it was sitting right on my air filter...i was like wtf?!!?..as soon as i took it out...my car started...every single time for about a week now..but today it choked again!! i checked da intake but nothing else is dare...im wondering if it could b something else?...i need help!!..smells like paint or something when it doesnt wanna turn on...

 

Check for spark and fuel.
