The 02 Sensor must be broke. Cats usually last a life time.

Po420 is a cat efficiency code, a bad o2 sensor usually has multiple dtc's.

Oh please Sebba don't start again it's MY Honda 1993 with 250,000. I bought the car brand new and lasted almost a decade without replacing the Catalyctic Converter. I even sold the car for $1,000
I am just telling the truth because I never replace my Cat. That's my experienced.

If you take care of your car it will last longer. regular tune up and oil change.
other parts are necessarily need to be replace like shocks, muffler etc etc.

Some people never replace their Cat because before it breaks they already have a new car especially in the Northeast.

The 02 sensor is near the Cat so sometimes the CEL lights up give you a code for the cat but it is actually the 2,3 or 4 O2 sensor on your car. that's the common misconception of reading the codes and CAT problem is very hard to diagnose even a car dealer will tell you this and that explanation.

Trust me I deal with 02 sensor all the time when I buy used cars. because that's the first thing I replaced.

Diagnosing a cat is not hard to do if you know what your doing. I know for a fact a po420 is a cat efficiency below threshold (bank one). Replacing all the o2 sensors on the car will NOT fix the problem.

FAX68, just because you didn't replace your cat, doesn't make it a lifetime part. That is something entirely different. Just think about your statement.

If they were a lifetime part, there would be no market for them.

Cat's Are designed to last the limetime of the vehicle DOES NOT mean that they will...Time will destroy a cat on its own, especially if it isnt on a vehicle...Misfires+Cat's Do not mix at all very easy to destroy the cat also.
Alot of Socal Shop's close to the one I work in dont hold propane rigs I made my own from of course a propane tank and fittings with a button and hose.-not at all free but its one of the easiest way to test a 02 sensor. Cranking c02test-My cost is 30 dollars because of it having to be on a 5 gas analyzer. anything about 12.5 c02 is a good cat @ 10 seconds of cranking the motor with Ignition Disabled.-Ecu must be able to read CKP and or CMP

do you know a damn thing your talking about?
4 02 sensors on a car thats funny.
-most ive ever seen is 3 which was added by the customer after resonator which I say is quite odd...
a 02 sensor is defined as fine tuning equipment.FYI....
lets say your 93 civic-1 wire or the 4 wire 02? you only have postcat 02.also only one cat....
not like any obd2 vehicle which has a Precat and a regular Cat convertor, where it also has Pre and Post cat 02 sensors which means before the precat and after the regular cat.

99.9 percent of the time delearship will just try and sell products rather than diagnose the problem at hand.

hey everybody,

As I saw, I have the best advisers over here, I decided to give the question in this section of the forum. I know is not related to check engine light. But, still is question. Does anyone know, if there is any rear (back) brake pads in Galant 2002 4 cylinder?

If there are pads in back brake system, then can you advise how to change them?

I appreciate your advice in advance.
