Can someone tell me if the faulty Heater Shut off Valve for an a 2003 GalantPart # MR958603 is a dealer part only? If not where can I find one? I 've tryed surffing the internet but no luck.

 

Ebay is the only place where you would be able to find it other than a dealer

Dealer only unless you want it used. It only list for $133.68.

 

I have posted how to make this repair at http://fixmymitsu.wordpress.com. It is a pretty easy fix if you have the patience and mechanical ability.

I bought the part new for about $150.00, but you could probably get it used. I don't think I would get a used part though because a used part is already going to be worn and might fail soon after installation.

 

I will buy it from the dealer it will exactly fit andfor warrantee and guarantee.
