RE: Engine Swap
I found that 6A13TT motor online. That motor is found on the 8G VR4. That VR4 Galant is a V6 turbo AWD, just like the 3kGT VR4. The difference is that the 6A13TT motor fits in an 8G Galant with mimimal modifications.
Back in the day I also saw that motor on ebay. You could order VR4 parts from Japan or other Asian countries to get parts and pieces. That swap would be like the swap I have in my Avenger. You may need to move a motor mount here or there, but the swap would be a unique one still. I want to say that I've seen a 6A13TT swap in the states already but I'm not sure since I saw it on CarDomain and that site is worldwide.
If you're thinking about swaps from FTOs/3kGT, why not one from a Galant VR4 since they are made for that engine bay....just not in the states. Or do what you originally wanted to do. I just seems more of a headache than anything.
Also, the instrument cluster doesn't get it's rotational info from the ECU, exactly, it only sends a raw signal to the Tach and speedo and then those two items are caliberated to the signal + other variables. What I'm trying to tell you is that in order to get an accurate RPM and Speed, you'll have to have the 3kGT's instrument cluster also and if you don't custom make the dash to surround the cluster + the wiring that will attach to the cluster...blah, blah, blah.
Don't get me wrong, it's great that you're thinking about swapping motors out, but I'm not sure that you thought this through more before getting a donor car or motor. You could have just as easily spent that amount of money on the front and rear clips of a 8G Galant VR4 for it's parts and be one of the few, if any, to have an 8G VR4 (that's a turbo AWD 8G) in the states with less down time and headache with more pros to it than the 3kGT N/A motor and even that is still FWD. To top it off, how much does that 6g72 N/A motor offer in power?
If you were trying to get more power for your FWD, I would have suggested building that motor with forged internals and boosting it. It's not like you have a crappy motor to begin with. It's a pretty stout motor, it's the internals that are weak, not the block
In the end game of motor swaps, it's not the size of the motor that matters, it's the potential in the motor. Why do you think I went from my V6 6g73 (FWD) to a I4 4G63 (and AWD)?
Also, stock HP specs mean nothing. That's what aftermarket forged internals and a turbo is for....again, it's potential.

its 1070 dollars. they said that the wiring harness for this engine isn't compatible with us harness's because of the right side drive think any suggestions??

RE: Engine Swap
ok all galants that i know off have a auto transmisssion. will a eclipse stick tranny mount straight up do would i have to special order a 5 or 6 speed stick tranny?? Also you siad i have a decent block just the internals are crappy so how much do you think i could get out of a 4g64 block saying i had about 6k to throw at just the engine and some other minor thing to get some xtra hp.

The 4g64 sits on the opposite side than the Eclipse, so the tranny won't transfer. This motor that came in the 8G Galant and 3G Eclipse is oriented on the opposite side of the 2G Eclipse so you cannot use either tranny from the 2G unless you want to shift from the front and outside of the car.
There's also nothing wrong with an automatic as long as you replace the stock torque converter, LSD, and add a shift kit. The TC reacts similar to a clutch in that it will not be able to apply the power to the wheels if "too much" HP is gained. If you're hardset to have a manual for whatever reason, I suggest looking at a swap or another car.
