Hey..

I have been playing with the idea of putting an Evo3 engine and transmission into a ´91 Galant GTI Dynamic 4, but im alittle unsure if it would bolt straight in. Its because there is a local dealer that have a front cut from an Evo3 rather cheap, so i thought it would be interesting to do it, since the engine basically is the same. But im unsure if the gearbox fits which would rather nescessary, as i dont think the standard box will handle around 300bhp

Also, if anyone knows, would the rear differential from an Evo 1-3 fit this Galant?

sounds like a good idea. now if it works that'll be sick. have you read any threads on this or seen pics of it done or did it just cross your mind one day?

Well at first i wanted to swap the Evo3 engine into my Colt (Mirage), but i was told not to do it since it would be crappy to drive. While i was looking around some forums i saw a Dynamic for sale, and then the idea hit me I just thought that the engines are similar to each other, and if the gearbox is too, it would be awesome

But unfortunately i haven´t found any links or forum threads about it, so i hoped that someone in here could help me out.

A guy around me have swapped a VR4 engine into his FWD GTI, but i think it would be much more nice to have 4WD and an Evo engine
