Default Galant lowering

So, I'm really new to this forum, so it's hard to search for stuff. I want to buy a Galant, a 2000 LS Galant. Now, I've seen the wheel space they have up on front, and I want to lower the car in the front. Is the a certain amount I should go to match up with the back? Another question, can anyone tell me what they think of a LS? I mean, would you recommend it, or would you just get an ES?

Myself and others mainly used TEIN springs. They would give you about 1.5" drop. I would also replace your struts and shocks because the factory can't handle the lowering. When I lowered mine, I had to replace them a week later I suggest KYB AGX. That is what I use and so do alot of others. To help you you can use the KYB AGX's for a 2000-2005 eclipse 4cyl. All this work can be done at home as well.

on my 01 galant I have used progress springs 2.2 inch drop up front and 1.8 inch drop for the rear. I also upgraded from my stock struts to Kyb AGX adjustable struts. the drop is real agreesive from the progress springs, but the stock struts will prolly not last that long with them installed. I blew out my left front strut after about 10,000 miles.

you can see pics of my car here
