I took my 1997 galant in for an oil change yesterday. When I was driving it home I started to notice that in the lower gears it seemed as if there was a sort of lag in switching gears. I would be hitting the gas pedal, but it took 3-5 seconds before power would actually go to the wheels. I don't know if this is something related to the oil change or if it is a transmission problem, any insight?
