Default Just bought a '99 Galant V6

I decided to join this forum since yesterday I bought a '99 Galant V6. It only had 9500 miles, can you believe it. The car runs great and it's got a few minor bugs, so I'm hoping I can get some assistance on resolving it. I payed $4000 for the car and payed $376 in taxes and tags at the DMV. So overall, I think I made a good investment. Here are some of the issues:
- The SRS light stays on
- A/C works, but heater does not
- Indoor ceiling lights don't work: no light bulbs installed and no connections for the light bulbs.
- **** to change the direction of air flow does not work; it only shoots out air from the center and foot area
- **** to adjust coolness of A/C does not work, but the air coming out is cool enough.
- 2 recalls need to be done; the dealer will fix free of charge

Any ideas or suggestions on what may be wrong, or how much it would cost to fix all these bugs? I really appreciate, thanks.

just amazes me, it only had 9500 miles and its a 99, did you buy it from a dealership or a private seller? your best bet might just be to have the dealership work on those issues as well it might run you a few hundred or so.

That's a great deal, I paid about $7,000 for my 2000 and it's not even a V6 and it had 95,000 miles. Envy you

probably one (or both) of the seat airbags... a common failure.
- A/C works, but heater does not
if you're not low on coolant, you need to check out the cable/mode door for the blend air door
- Indoor ceiling lights don't work: no light bulbs installed and no connections for the light bulbs.
huh? thats odd. Got a pic?
- **** to change the direction of air flow does not work; it only shoots out air from the center and foot area

- **** to adjust coolness of A/C does not work, but the air coming out is cool enough.
all of this sounds related... someone may have taken out the climate controls and broken something/not reattached something, etc.
- 2 recalls need to be done; the dealer will fix free of charge

Any ideas or suggestions on what may be wrong, or how much it would cost to fix all these bugs? I really appreciate, thanks.
gotta have stuff diagnosed fully before anyone can give accurate estimates.
