Newbie: 2005 Galant ES Parts Help
Have some questions:
If I buy an aftermarket double-DIN HDD in-dash audio/video player, do I need to cut some wires or just plug the wires and done?
My Galant has the standard factory single-DIN cd player. I only want to upgrade the audio player but not the whole sound system to just eliminate the tons of compact discs in my car.
Price wise (including lug nuts, wheel locks, center cap, etc.) and ride comfort wise: Should I go with OEM alloy wheels or the OZ Rally Michaelangelo 10 or OZ Rally Caravagio? Since I use the car for business I just need the car to look business-like not street racer-like.
I already decided on the Bridgestone Turanze Serenity since I heard good reviews on it on ride comfort and handling on dry/wet than Eagle Response Edge.
But still deciding if will go with 17-inch wheels/tires or 16-inch wheels/tires. Which gives the best ride comfort anyway - 16 or 17 inch wheels/tires?
And is it possible to install OEM foglights on my Galant but has no diamond package? I asked the dealer sevice department and told that they can't do it. Something about thermal system. Was told that it is not worth it to install the foglights because of the cost of harness. Any possibility of installing?
Thanks!
