EDIT** ITS A 2001 SORRY

 

1) Pull out your radio. Get the serial and model numbers which are printed on a small sticker on the bottom of your radio near the front end.
2) Have your VIN# ready.
3) Call 1-888-MITSU2006 and give them the above information. They'll get you the code for free.

I bought a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES car last week. but my CD Player is not working, it is asking code. My previous owner was entered code 3 times wrongly. Now the code was blocked. I tried to ask dealers and they were asking $50 to unlock the code. Can any body know how to unlock the code?
