radiator sludge
small small small possiblity that would of happened. I don't know last year when it was serviced if they put the orange stuff in.
But I did add water and green a few months ago - so that could be it. Still - I have a problem with the Radiator being rusted on the inside.

The reason I asked is because the two formulas don't mix well. Infact, they form a brown sludge.
Did a dealership service your radiator or a bubba? Dealers and repuatable shops have chemical flush kits that can clean your system better than just flushing with water. Refill with the green stuff. cost about $90. You may give this a try first, before you look at replacing a radiator.

you know before I started this thread I was thinking hoping all I would do is just flush one more time. But The car has 150,000. Needs 2nd timing belt, needs plugs, needs needs needs (and i already purchased water pump, belt, tensioners... so i gotta get it tuned, might as well do it all at once.
For $600 and the piece of mind that it's all new stuff vs. $1500-2600.. i think it's worth it now..
Thanks for the advice.
