Default Service Engine Soon Light

Does the SES automatically clear or do you have to clear it manually?

If you fix the problem, the code will work itself out after so many starts, once the ECU determines that the PID is within parameters. However you can disconnect your battery and it will force the ECU into calibration, thus clearing the code without a code reader.
