starting problem?
#11
I've been working overtime, the last 2 weeks, so sorry, about the delay.
ok, up to date, stupid car, hasn't started, though, Brother in Law, has elimitated some things.
1. there was a wire that was loose, it wasn't grounded. They found this while repairing the muffler. hmm?
2. when they repaired the grounding wire, they would SOMETIMES, get the car to start.
sooo,
Brother in Law, decided to start tapping on the starter motor, while someone was trying to start the car.
yep,. that did it, there is a short or something in the starter.
Now,, we''re NOT SAYING, that was the whole problem,
because,
yes, it was the anti-theft,
also, the wire that wasn't grounding properly,
then the starter motor.
so, now it's starting again, on a regular basis.
Brother in Law, also patched the upper ball joint, or whatever it's called. Where the front end is attached to the body of the car. This can be seen when you open the hood of the car, upper left hand corner.
so, now, it rides smoother, no thumping when you hit a bump, or step hard on the brake.
This latter is just a patch, so we can sell the car.
HURRAY!
I'm going to put it on the market next week.
I am an honest person, I will of course tell anyone who asks, what I've had done to the car.
My brother in laws daughter is going to Europe for school, so wants to sell her Subaru. So, this is a win - win situation, better car, maybe with high miles, but, still a better car,
so, now all I want to do is sell my car, to cover what she wants for her car.
HURRAY!
