Default Water Sloshing behind my glove box on my 2004 Galant

Help, when AC is on on my 04 Galant I now hear water sloshing back and forth behind my glove compartment and it drips a little on the passenger side floor board especially when I turn to the left. Is this a nightmare fix? AC related I know, but any ideas on how to fix it would be great.

Thx

Default sloshing

your AC drip hose is plugged up, it should be located on the passenger side floor underneath the glove compartment, your gonna have to pull the carpet out a little bit. clean out the house and you'll be fine. if for some reason its not there, check the fire wall its a black house pointing down.

you cant access the drain for the a/c from the inside of the car. the hvac box is in the middle of the dash, and the a/c drain goes through the firewall and comes out right behind the motor mount on the front cross member. have to either take out the air cleaner box to gain access, or put vehicle on a lift and get at it from the bottom. this is a common complaint this time of year. debris gets in the hvac box and cloggs up the drain. use air pressure to unclog drain. installing a cabin air filter in your a/c duct work will help prevent debris from gettin in. now the cabin air filter IS behind the glove box.

Default Same issue-did you find any fix

Hello Sir,
I have got same problem of leakage of water on passenger side for my Mitsubishi Galant ES 2003.
This occurs with steaming sound only when I turn left
Do you know why this is happening. With this happening the performance of my AC has reduced, blower blows less air.
If I do not start fan or AC ,the steaming sound does not come or there is no leakage.!!! strange!!!

Did you find fix to this issue?cost to fix it??

I dont understand WHY THESE PROBLEMS about the water inside the cabin.

Do people clean there cars? the only why it could happen if you parked under a tree and lots of leaves falling on your car that will clog up some drains.

or never wash car. I had Mirage I never had any problems probably just the Galant.
