I got this button next to the steering wheel. What does it do?



Mitsubishi Galant 1997 1.8GDI

Self destruct?

The symbol looks like a potentiometer so it's probably some kind of light dimmer... Try turning your lights on and pressing it and see if your dash lights get dimmer/brighter...

If your car doesn't explode it's probably not self destruct.

Do you have the owners manual?

No i don't have it. But i'll try what you suggested.

Nope, it's not a light dimmer. nor self destruct button.

Found what it is. It's a button to heat the windshield where the wipers rest. In case of ice I'm assuming.
