It has 64k miles, recently i notice annoying jerking while keeping my foot steady on the throttle trying to maintain speed in slow moving traffic. This happens especially at 1st and 2nd gear at around 1000 to 1300 RPM sometimes it gets so heavy that my keys in the ignition are bouncing and hitting the dashboard. Any ideas what could be going wrong ??? could it be the fuel filter ? or bad ignition coils ? these are just my guesses. By the way i just replaced spark plugs and wires but this didn't help, I also used various fuel injector cleaners with no luck. I know this kind of problems are pain in the behind and not easy to solve but any help would be appreciated.

 

My old CRX would do this right after I filled up gas (only in first or 2nd gear accelerating or trying to steady the RPMs it would jerk like hell)... so my guess would be something with the fuel filter or fuel pump.

 

Check fuel filter, spark plugs, not sure about ignition coil on your car if you have one.
I will buy a fuel tank cleaner first. try anything over the counter that can clean the EFI
fuel tank etc etc it work on my Honda 93 before I sold it.
