So I'm planning on taking apart my tail lights on my '04 Ralliart to remove the chrome trim (I think it looks cheesy). A friend of mine said if you just use rubbing alcohol, it'll take off the chrome and leave it black, which is what I want.

Does anyone know if this is true? Or has anyone disassembled their tail lights before? I'm planning on using a heat gun for mine.

 

Hey Bro, I used to have a 2004 Ralliart and I found out that you can just buy blacked out tail lights. Thats what I did and its must easier doing that then taking apart the oem and trying to remove the chrome. Better pay a little more the first time and get it right the first time.

 

where can you buy the blacked out taillight?
