2005 Lancer GLX 1.6 Cuts out on deceleration when at temp.
Hi guys.
I was wondering if someone has any advise on my issue. I have a 2005 Lancer 1.6 GLX. I have discovered a new problem on my car after a recent road trip. Nothing major just about 150miles.
Car runs fine, starts fine, idles fine, but when the car is up to operating temperature and I slow down to stop the car cuts out. It does not experience the same problem when the vehicle is cold, only when it reaches temperature.
In my limited mechanical knowledge I am was leaning towards a airflow or idling sensor, but the problem only shows itself when the car warms up to temp, which is making me think the coil packs could be the culprit.
Vehicle was recently serviced, and plugs changed. Was fine for the test drive after the service, but the next day on the long trip almost got myself into trouble when trying to cross an intersection.
I still daily the car, I just try to keep the revs up at intersections until I figure the problem out.
I hope I have provided enough information for someone smarter than me to solve.
Thanks in advance guys.
