I drive an '05 lancer es, 2.0L. My service engine soon light came on a while back after it was sitting for a couple of days without being driven. I ran the diagnostic test on it and the code it gave me is p0108, which is MAP/BARO Circuit High Input, and also told me that the EGR is not ready. What things should I check that could be wrong? Thanks.

Hope that helps get you started. I've had one code or another on my Lancer for the last 8 months or so, but I've muddled through them all without a mechanic so far.

 

thank you! I noticed my MAP sensor was cracked a while after my light had been on so I replaced it, so the MAP sensor is new, but I will test the other things and see what results I get. I appreciate the help.

 

Alright, I've cleaned the electrical connections to the MAP sensor, the MAF sensor connection, and the MAF sensor itself, checked all the wires, and ran the diagnostic test again when the light came back on, this time it gave me a p0069 code - MAP/BARO Correlation. The map sensor is brand new because I replaced the old one when it cracked. Is there anything different I can try for this?
