08 Turbo?!?! Kits to be available
I am also a new owner of an 08 Lancer GTS! Must say I love the car! It's my first car and my first mitsubishi as well! Been a fan of the Evo and Lancer especailly this years body style! Anyways to my point! If any has paid attention yet, but the possibility of the 08 Lancer being turbo'd is closer than we believe! From my readings (i could be wrong) the 08 Lancer will be able to have boost and still be warrantied! From readings the kit will be available once the RalliArt hits the market and shortly there after the kit will be availabe for purchase and still be warrantied! If anybody has any remarks please feel free... and if anybody can back me up much thanks

Well like I said that was a rumor going around other forums... I haven't been able to find solid-solid proof... but evolutionm.net has a real big discussion on the same possibility! I wasn't to to sure about the whole situation either because there wasn't too much positive infor to back it up! But again, I'm new to this so wouldn't suprise me if they are wrong! But again I'll keep looking and checking and if anybody has any other wisdom's out there share em'....

Just by 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.
You don't need a Turbo fora daily driver except if you're a member SCCA or race your car on a "Race Track" every weekend.
But street racing forget IT that's Federal Offens my friend and 10 years in Jail

This is the better way because of all the aluminum internals:
buy universal parts.
Do a research, find a turbocharger, pick an intercooler that will fit, get blow off walve, clutch, gauges (ur most important ones are gonna be boost gauge, oil pressure, oil temp and EGT - exhaust temp). Also you'll need engine management system like Greddy eManage Ultimate or AEM or a complete standalone system. With lancer's ECU however, you can also just tweak A/F and let the ECU adapt and do the rest for you.. a lot of people will disagree with me, but its doable and its cheap..
If you think about going over 5-6 psi on your turbo, then you'll need to buy internals.. Nobody makes them yet, unless you can put ur hands on EVOs parts, but pay an arm and a leg for it. My suggestion would be to take your engine apart, and take all internals to a good local machine shop. They will take it from there, they'll do all the measurements and build you identical internals but forged.. That will make our aluminum engine pretty much bulletproof and good for 15-20psi boost. Take all parts to the tuning shop and have them fabricate intercooler piping, charge piping, exhaust etc. and put the car together for you. Then tune it up and you're golden!
Hope it helped
