Default 09 Lancer wheels....

Hey All,

I am new to the forum, got my 2009 Lancer GTS sportback a week ago now...and lovin it!
I have the 18s that came with the car on it now. I am looking to get some winter tires, as it will soon start to snow up here in Calgary.
Just wondering if 205/60R16 wheels will fit?

Thanks!

I am in the same boat.

We have a GT come with 16" wheel, I want to downsize it to 15". We can calculate the diameter of the tires but not sure about the brake clearance. I even called Mit. dealer and they said they are not sure.

I believe the GTS brake and GT are the same and there should not be any problem to get the 16" stock size.

Where do you get the wheel from if you are really buying?

I test fitted the 16's and they fit. I am using some old race wheels my boyfriend has for his RX-7. I got some kumho kw27's on the wheels, and it all works out!
Tire Rack does offer other wheel options for the make and model of the car, so check it out see if 15's are there. When I get some new wheels for the car I will likely go to tirerack.com....decent prices.
