Default 2011 GTS Alignment

I recently purchased a 2011 GTS and the car seems to be pulling slightly to the left. I hesitate to get the alignment checked because I just sprayed plasti-dip on my wheels and I don't want it to be damaged during the alignment (especially if it's unnecessary). Don't get me wrong I have no problem re-spraying the wheels if the alignment fixes the issue. I just don't want to do it if history shows alignment does not fix it. While researching the subject I found that this issue is mostly found on 2008-2009 models. Can anyone answer the following questions?

1.What was the cause in the 2008-2009 models? Was it the tires or alignment?
2.Has anyone had this issue on there 2011 model? if so, what did you do to correct it?

Thanks in advance.
