My daughter recently purchased a 2017 Lancer. She says she has a random problem with the electrical system. Sometimes, when she shuts the car off, the dome light will not work and the door locks are not working. Next time she starts the car, all the gauges have reset. Car starts fine otherwise. I told her to make sure the battery terminal connectors are tight. They are. Again, this seems to be an intermittent problem. Could this be the ignition switch itself?

Any ideas appreciated.
