Got into a bit of a reck.... NEED HELP!
Well as ya'll can tell im a newb. but not really ive been around cars all my life and i could tell you a thing or to, or a lot about nearly anything. anyway hello and the reason im here is to ask for your help in finding a few part numbers. the reason being is that my girlfriend got into a little reck with my stone mailbox the other month and needs to replace her rear bumper cover. the dent in the metal is going to be repaired too.
Th trouble im having is finding an online oem parts catalog for her 2008 lancer (either its an es or de) but that shouldnt matter because the rear cover is the same. Does anyone know the part numbers for the rear bumper for this model??? i cant find them anywhere.
I did this same thing, finding a replacement rear bumper, for my car and found out that the factory had a part number that listed it for $534, but then i found out theres an insurance part number for the same rear bumper cover from the factory that was $355.... Is there anything like this out there? Does Mitsubishi do insurance part numbers for certain parts on their cars?
or a recommendations for a replacement that might be aftermarket that wont break the bank and ties in well with the stock front and side skirts???
budget = about $350 or less (less is better lol)
Any help or suggestions is helpful.
Thanks

thanks, its a great find, definately will keep it in mind, but i was looking for the entire bumper cover, like it goes all the way around the car. not just a lower add on valence.
the damage is on the drivers side up next to the fuel door.
