Ok i was on the highway and i was going to put her from 5th gear to 4th gear and I accidentally went into 2nd for a split second, and quickly changed to 4th again. I heard a lil clunk when this happened and hauled over to check for any problems. I didn't find any so i jumped back in and drove off. She idles like shes new, she accelerates like new, but once i hit the 4k rpm mark she sputters and looses all power. i check all the spark plugs the seem to have black around the bottom of the plug but nothing to serious. And the check engine light is on. Any ideas on whats wrong?

 

Maybe its the fuel pump of some kind (i figure there is two one in tank one by the engine) maybe does not get enough fuel at those rpm-s and goes in to limp mode just a opinion.
