Default I bought the 2004 Lancer Sportback (pics)

I drove from Wisconsin to Minnesota to get it and wow, am I impressed. The price is right, the car has a good balance of power and fuel economy and the ride, though somewhat stiff, is excellent. I can't wait to drive it more - I've owned three other cars, including an Integra LS, and this one easily beats it. Thanks for all of your input in the other thread I posted, it helped me make a choice to get a great vehicle!

Glad to hear you're happy with it. Now you need to post some pics of it for the rest of us!

Sure thing. Here's a couple. I'll take some more when it's cleaner or if I mod it.

It's begging for tinted windows! Any plans for mods yet?

Hm. I'm not sure yet. I'd start with some cheaper stuff and maybe move my way up. Any ideas? I'd probably do some engine mods but I'm afraid that'd void the warranty.

The warranty being voided will depend a lot on the dealer servicing the car. Find a local dealer and find out what they will let you do without voiding the warranty. You should be able to sneak quite a bit by them though as far as minor mods but I can't really say what would void the warranty. Right now I don't have much done to my car mechanically- Magnaflow muffler, custom intake, 5 point ground kit, voltage regulator and that's it. I have some other things I'm looking into, but haven't taken the plunge yet. My car is so heavy and slow due to AWD and being a crossover SUV that I NEED to do a lot more to help it get out of it's own way.
