Default LED vs NEONS

I am looking into gettin some interior lights. What would produce a better light going with LED's or a NEON light? I had both in my old car and I liked the effect that it put off.

Neons for light output... LEDs for power consumption... but I would suggest staying away from "Steal me" lights...

So then i should use LEDs to replace like the turn singnal lights and break lights? I would hook the interior lights up to a switch to turn on and off as I wanted. My old car had them connected to the dome light.

Hey if I spliced out the interior light in my trunk, the tinyass little light there, and wired up an LED bar to it, would I have any problems? The tiny light is being blocked my my sub bix, and I need something to allow me to see. I think a 20" LED bar might do the trick

Heheh yea they kinda do but I figure if I can rig it to turn on when I open my trunk, then when Im doin somethin at night I can see what Im doin. The stock light dont do anything for me and expecially now bein blocked by my sub enclosure. Its not like I have it in my cabin.

Survey says.... Get ultra white bulbs or equivical for your car... not put multi colored lights in ones drivers compartment.
