Default New to Lancers/Mitsu

Hey guys. As the title says, I'm new to Mitsu, so bear with me. I've been stuck with Honda's for the past couple years and I'm getting sick of them constantly breaking on me, so I'm ready for a switch. I've always had an eye for Lancers, so I've been looking around on craigslist for some. Originally, I was looking for some early to mid 90's Lancers, but I typed in '03 just to see what came up and found that they were in my price range (3-4000.)

One thing I noticed as I was looking for them was that they were all around 90k-110k. So my first question is do these things start having major problems around there or is it just a coincidence? Also, I found an 03 Evo for only 3,000. I emailed about it, but that REALLY sounds fishy to me...

Also, what kind of problems does this gen of Lancers face? Is 100k miles fairly low for an ES? I'm really just looking to find a good, reliable car for college, and Honda just isn't doing it for me.

Sorry for the noob questions, but I promise they'll get better once I read more of the site.
