Hi folks. I'm having a hard time locating parts for a 1996 Lancer - 4g15 1.5lit. 16 valve dohc. This is a right hand drive vehicle located in Guyana, S.A. - I need head gasket, manifold gaskets, valve cover gasket, piston/rings, valves, etc... but can't seem to find anything that matches up. I find a head gasket for a 97 Mirage DE that looks like it will work but the other gaskets I can't seem to match up from any sources online. Hole placement, etc.. don't line up on the dohc gaskets that I'm seeing for other similar engines. In reading about the history of these 4g15 engines I see that there is a 16 valve dohc that is referred to as "uncommon". The only source I have found that has the exact gaskets is in New Zealand. I'm wondering if there are other vehicles that carry this same engine that could help with my search or if you can help with a good source that might have these items. If I could locate them in the U.S. that would be most helpful. Seems this engine is rare here in Guyana and no dealers here have parts. Thanks for any feedback.
