Hey guys I just recently bought a '04 lancer evo VIII and I was wondering what type of exhaust you guys recomend for a deep throaty sound? I also wanted to know if I need to buy a full cat-back system or just the muffler? (mainly for sound not performance cause i don't race much) I also wanted to buy an aftermarket BOV (blow off valve) but i don't know which one to get. Please help me guys. Thanks

If you want to get the loudest noise out of your evo i would be starting off with a good set of headers thanleading back to acannon would give it a sweet sound. With aBOV i would go the HKS super sqv loudestone i've heard. <IMG src=smileys/smiley20.gif border="0"></P>

headers and test pipe, skip the mufflers all together. Not very helpful but definetly loud<IMG src=smileys/smiley13.gif border="0">.

 

Can't put header on a turbo car. You can put an open atmosphere BOV though which will vent give you the whooshing noise you were talking about. I would get a turbo-back exhaust if I were you first.
