ive got an 02 mitsu lancer oz rally. i have a cai and an exhastwhich has been working great. i want to get my hrsp increased, but im kinda young and i aint got much cash. obviously a turbo would be HEAVEN for me but thats not really a possibility. what are some easy/cheap preformance upgrades i can do to increase horsepower???

probably like 300, it would take me a while to save up that much, but i could do it if i really wanted the mod for my car.

Pistons and rods-anywhere from 200-1000$

and the list continues.....look through like IMPORT TUNER and modified mag for other parts or use google

 

the lancer doesn't respond well to bolt on mods like intakes and such. You can have intake, exhaust, header. retune the ECU, and still only gain 10hp.

The only way to make a decent amount of power with the lancer is a turbo. The best option for an 02 lancer is to built a custom kit using an Evo 16G turbo
