(Tuner Market) '08 Lancer GTS
I am planning on buying the new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS (with the CVT). I've always wanted an Evo though (just for it's performance) but never had the money for the insurance. When I found out that the Evo 10 had the same 4B11 engine in it, I knew I had to get the regular model Lancer.
My question here is: Can I get my 2008 Lancer GTS to the performance of the Evo 10 (or some where in that general hp & torque). Will I be able to get that much out of the car with intercooler, tuning chip, turbo, exhaust, intake, etc?

The 2007 (or 08, i forgot which) Nissan Altimas are front wheel drive (transaxle) with CVT and the 3.5 verison is pumping out 270 hp. I'm pretty sure that my transaxle will be fine along with the CVT.

*cough*350z autos get TT all the time*cough*
All I'm saying is, with the CVT, the turbo would work pretty well with it since you get absolutely no shift shock and the turbo doesn't loose it's airflow when you shift. (It would obviously get the shift shock when you use the paddles)

Just wait something will come out as far as performance for that car dont be to anxious cause all cars have re-calls or problems with certain things you dont wanna be the first Lab-rat to find out what goes wrong on turbo lancer with cvt trans. let all bugs get worked out if your gonna buy oneI would wait 6-10 months to see if any problems pop-up since this CVT thing is new and its in first yrs. Maybe something new & better will come out.
