Some of my friends dads own a auto store and i was talking to them about getting a evo8 and they say "i like the looks but...the engine is crap" wat the heck does that mean...

 

it means that they dont have the money to shell out for an Evo 8....tell them to **** off because there cars arent AWD, there not turboed, and there not running 13's in the quarter....so tell them to **** off

Ijust have an ES and I love the Evo, and if I had the money I would get one. Even before the STI

 

engine is crap compared to a dsm<IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">. naw just kidding, but dsm orientation evo3 still holds the fastest time in japan for some lap or something like that...

To be honost though, a 2002 TransAm with *only* ported heads ran a low 12sec.....stock exhaust, k&amp;n stock type filter and that's it. Can you imagine what some lumpy cams would do?
